Dr. Daniel Silverberg graduated with honors from the School of Medicine, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Beer Sheva in 1996. He then began his residency in general surgery at Meir Hospital in Kfar Sava. After three years of surgical residency, he spent a year of clinical training at the Mount Sinai Hospital in New York. At the end of the year he remained at Mount Sinai hospital and completed his residency in General Surgery, followed by another year of fellowship in vascular surgery at the same institution. At the end of his training, he worked for three years as a senior surgeon in vascular surgery at James J. Peter VA Medical Center, New York. Upon his return to Israel in 2009, he began working as a senior physician in the department of vascular surgery at Tel Hashomer. In 2013 he was appointed deputy director of the department and in 2020 he was appointed as chief of the endovascular unit in the department. In 2021 he was appointed associate professor of surgery in Tel Aviv university.
