Zachary L. Bercu, MD RPVI FSIR, is a Professor in the Division of Interventional Radiology (IR) and Image-Guided Medicine at Emory and an Adjunct Professor in the Coulter Department of Biomedical Engineering at Georgia Tech. He serves as Program Director for the IR-Integrated and IR-Independent residency programs and Co-Director of the Medical Innovation Track at Emory.

His activities have included medical device innovation, medical robotics (both percutaneous and endovascular), innovation education, prostate artery embolization, endovenous sampling (adrenal vein sampling and selective arterial calcium stimulation for occult neuroendocrine tumor localization), locoregional therapies including Yttrium-90 radioembolization and chemoembolization, transradial interventions, complex venous disease, and advanced embolization and dosimetry tools. He is a faculty mentor and advisor to the Biodesign & Innovation of Minimally-Invasive Technologies (BIMIT) Lab at Emory.
