Dr. Bracha Halaf is a Principal at Qure Ventures, Israel’s first exclusively focused digital health fund, with investments, predominantly in startups located in Israel, home to world’s leading tech + digital health ecosystem.
Bracha is also a member of the Israeli Electricity Authority. Between 2015-2018 Bracha served as the Chief Scientist of the Israeli Ministry of Energy working with local and international startups, research institutes, industrial and governmental agencies promoting the implementation of innovative technologies in various fields of energy, water and natural resources.
During her prior role, Bracha served as a Board member of the U.S.-Israel Binational Science Foundation and the U.S.-Israel binational Industrial R&D foundation; Was a member of the Israeli Industrial Committee of the National Council for Advancement of Women in Science and Technology; Chaired the Advisory Committee for 3 National Research Institutes; And was a member of the Israeli Natural Gas Authority Council.
Dr. Halaf holds Ph.D in Biophysics from the Weizmann Institute of Science, and M.Sc. & B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from Ben- Gurion University of the Negev. She also graduated a Senior Leadership Program of the Wexner Foundation, from the Kennedy School at Harvard University.
