Dr. David Kandzari is the Chief, Piedmont Heart Institute and Cardiovascular Service Line; Director, Interventional Cardiology; and Chief Scientific Officer for Piedmont Healthcare in Atlanta, Georgia. He has served in faculty roles at Duke University and the Scripps Clinic. Dr. Kandzari also served as Chief Medical Officer for the Cordis Corporation/Johnson & Johnson and as a Medical Officer for the US FDA. He has held national and international leadership roles in cardiovascular clinical trials and has authored more than 400 manuscripts and delivered more than 700 lectures worldwide.
