Professor Shulamit Levenberg is the head of the Stem Cell and Tissue Engineering Laboratory at the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering at the Technion. She is the Director of the Technion’s Bioprinting center and the Schneur center for diabetes research. Levenberg’s lab study the formation of vascular networks in 3D constructs and develop implantable tissue constructs using tissue engineering and bioprinting. Prof Levenberg is a leading author of over 120 peer-reviewed articles and the co-founder and inventor of three companies, Aleph Farms, NanoSynex, and Neuroaxon. She is the former president of the Israel stem cell society.
