Dr. Yair Lewis obtained his MD from the Hebrew University and completed his internal medicine residency at Rambam Healthcare Campus. In addition to his medical training, he holds a PhD in molecular biology from the Technion. Currently, Yair is the Chief Medical Officer of Navina, a startup developing an AI-centered platform for primary care. At Navina, he is responsible for all medical aspects of product development, strategy, sales and marketing. Yair was part of the national COVID-19 response working group in Israel; he initiated and led the national COVID-19 wastewater monitoring project. In 2021 he was selected as a member of the 8400 Network Leadership Cohort and is an active member of the Israeli biotech ecosystem. He is an active clinician whose focus is emergency medicine.
