Alessandro Marucchini, MD, is a vascular surgeon by training. His clinical experience ranged over all endovascular devices in the treatment of complex aortic pathologies.
Dr Marucchini graduated with honors from University of Perugia Medical School, Perugia, Italy, and completed a vascular surgery residency and fellowship cum laude at University of Perugia Medical School, Perugia, Italy as well as University of Rome “La Sapienza”, Rome, Italy. During his residency and fellowship he also supported many didactic activities , leading students courses, classes and exams at University of Perugia Medical School
Dr Marucchini has authored 10 scientific publications, including original articles in peer-reviewed journals, book chapters, and extended abstracts. He has been an invited speaker and participant at national and international congresses and symposia, including Charing Cross meeting.
Dr Marucchini has been a member of the European Society for Vascular Surgery (ESVS)
He joined Medtronic in 2015 and since then he has led scientific activities such as publications, conference presentations/symposia, business/therapy development etc.. providing cross functional support internally to different teams (R&D, Clinical, Marketing) as well as many Aortic Kols world wide
