Doron Zahger (born 1957) is a cardiologist. Since 2016 he is director of the cardiology department at Soroka University Medical Center, full professor of cardiology at the Ben-Gurion University of Negev. Since 2019 he has been president of the Israeli Cardiology Association.

Zahger began his medical studies at the age of 18 in 1975, he studied from then until 1982 at Rappaport Medical School at Technion in Haifa. In 1992 he traveled to the United States and spent two years studying cardiology at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. Upon returning to Israel, in 2001 he was appointed Director of Soroka’s Intensive Care Unit. Zahger holds high-level positions in the field of cardiology; between 2011 and 2007 he was Secretary General of the Israeli Cardiology Association and in May 2019 he assumed the position of President of the Cardiology Association, which he will hold until 2021. Between 2008 and 2010 he was Vice President of the European Intensive Care Unit. Parallel to his executive roles in medicine, Zeger holds high level academic positions; from 2011 to 2014 he was Vice Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences at Ben-Gurion University.
